Procedures


1.    Hand the jewelry to the employee of the Handling and Hall marking department, provided that the goods are hallmarked with the stamp of the workshop in case they are local, and in case they're imported they are handed along with the customs declaration.

2.    Receiving the deposit statement and payment of fees in the Organization's fund.

3.    Testing of samples in the Directorate of Jewelry.

•    In case of conformity of the test results: The sealed deposit statement is handed to the employee at the window in the department of Handling and Hall marking, then receive the goods hallmarked with the legal karat measure, and the completed customs transaction (in case the jewelry is imported).


•    In case of non-conformity of the test results: Refer to the Handling and Hall marking department employee to sign the approval of smashing jewelry and receive it in case the jewelry is local. In case the jewelry is imported, it is agreed to re-export or to smash the jewelry after the payment of sample testing fees.

4.    Refer to the organization to receive the jewelry.

 

 

Required Documents

•    A written declaration showing the weight, type, number of casts and the authorized karat measure in case the jewelry is local.

•    Customs declaration in case the jewelry is imported.
 
•    If the applicant is new: the following valid documents are required to be attached (the approval of the Central Bank, the vocational license, the jeweler's trademark and the registration certificate).

•    Attach the approval of the Standards and Metrology organization to the ounces as well as the  "Rashadi liras" and "English liras"
